PERMANENT ACCESS SYSTEMS

EHS are a trusted company, with over 25 years’ experience, installing permanent access systems on to some of London’s most high-profile projects. We work with our clients to commission the finest building maintenance systems.

From the early days, working on the HSBC building and numerous other Canary Wharf projects, through to recent projects, such as the iconic Bloomberg building EHS has established specialist skills in the permanent access field.

We’re involved in the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station, phase 1 and 2, for several clients with the installation of Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) systems, cradle gantries and permanent abseiling systems. We have also been asked to help develop safe systems of work on some of the more complex abseiling systems across the project. Currently, EHS is working on Lloyd’s of London with Cento Engineering. Together we are upgrading or in most cases replacing all 17 permanent access systems across this iconic Grade 1 listed building.

Access all areas, permanently.

PROJECT: BLOOMBERG EUROPEAN HQ

Our involvement in this prestigious project spanned a 3 year period, Jan 2015 through to late 2017.

We were engaged by Cento Engineering for the installation of all the Permanent Access systems. Two Building Maintenance Units (BMU) systems for the North and South buildings. The internal atrium BMU. Several scenic lift abseil monorails and basement travelling gantry to service the Mithras Roman Temple refurbishment.

Whilst installing the above, our abseilers were heavily involved in the bronze installation on the façade for the cladding contractor.

EHS is currently working on several major projects across London, installing permanent access equipment, from Canary Wharf in the East to Battersea Power Station in the West.
